She was offered £25K before the games and a 100K bonus if Liverpool won the league wasnt she?
Thats what she could have taken
But when Villa were 2-0 up I why she let it ride, the chances of City winning the game were slim and Liverpool are favourites for the champions league.

As a former degenerate gambler. (Thanks Irish, I have been looking for the right rescription for several years now) I wouldn't have had the bet on anyway.
I have the wrong sort of personality traits to gamble and stick to the basic principle that the house always wins, that's why they exist.
She would have become expectant that 'fate' 'The universe' and the fickle Gods of betting were all on her side, it was meant to be and she was entitled to that massive win. - Thats how they get you to lose.

It really depends on how much the money means t her. £95k is not a life changing amount of money to everyone. She may have a good income, good savings, very manageable mortgage and no outstanding loans.
Everyone has a strange financial bubble they inhabit. Personally I always try to take the a profit and bank it to improve my position. But some people fail to realise the true value of money and the difficulty in accumulating same.
At least she got a good story out of it and is now most likely a Degenerate gambler.

Obviously a miscarriage of Justice, Liverpool fans are always victimised
On a series note, doubt many would have taken the money at 2-0, would be more like planning the spend up and celebration, must be gut wrenching when the City 2nd and then 3rd goal went in.

She should have taken it. Even at 2-0 down after 75 mins (I think it was) I had an inkling Man City would get the 3 goals they needed.

Would have taken the 95k no questions asked. She won't get close that amount again surely. As said they had to guarantee a win against Real Madrid and relying on Man City to not have a mad 10 minutes in the second half.
